Here we are
Here we are
The broken and used
Mistreated, abused
Here we areHere you are
Here you are
The beautiful one
Who came like a Son
Here You are

So we lift up our voices
We open our hands
To cling to the love
That we can’t comprehend

Oh, lift up your voices
And lift up your heads
To sing of the love
That has freed us from sin

He is the one
Who has saved us
He is the one
Who embraced us
He is the one who has come
And is coming again
He’s the remedy

Here we are
Here we are
Bandaged and bruised
Awaiting a cure
Here we are

Here You are
Here You are
Our beautiful King
Bringing relief
Here You are with us

So we lift up our voices
And open our hands
Let go of the things
That have kept us from Him

He is the one
Who has saved us
He is the one
Who forgave us
He is the one who has come
And is coming again
He’s the remedy

Oh, I can’t comprehend
I can’t take it all in
Never understand
Such perfect love come
For the broken and beat
For the wounded and weak
Oh, come fall at His feet
He’s the remedy
He’s the remedy

So sing, sing

You are the one
Who has saved us
You are the one
Who forgave us
He is the one who has come
And is coming again
To make it alright
Oh, to make it alright
You’re the remedy
Oh, in us
You’re the remedy

Let us be the remedy
Let us bring the remedy

Yes, yesterday was Easter, but I am still feeling it today. There was A LOT of hard work done by so many people yesterday and I feel as though it paid off! I am so thankful that I can be a part of a body that has been blessed with such talented God Loving people. Yesterday’s set was probably one of those sets that will stand out for a long time. I am hoping to have some video up this afternoon or tomorrow. It was really awesome to be a part of it. Here is our set.

Creed – Third Day

My Savior Lives – New Life Worship

Mighty To Save – Hillsong

Glory in the Highest – Chris Tomlin

He’s Alive – Everyone and his mother (Dolly Parton is probably the most well known one though.)

Mighty To Save – Hillsong (To close out again)

I really hope we don’t wait a year to do these songs again. I think Creed is one of my favorite songs to play. Mighty to Save is up there to. That song sticks with you all day.

Hope your guy’s Easter was as great as mine.

*****UPDATE*****

As promised.

Creed

My Savior Lives

Mighty To Save

Glory In The Highest

Skit

He’s Alive

guitarstrings.jpgSo I put new strings on the LP last night for Easter. I have been using Ernie Ball forever. I usually put 10s on but all I had were 9s and the factory strings just weren’t cutting it. So I put the 9s on and yuck! Toooo slinky. I was getting really bad fret buzz on the Low E string. Like really bad. The others were fine in terms of buzz , but I can’t use these. I was thinking of getting Ernie Ball 10s again but wanted to check with you players out there on what you use on your electrics. So….what do you use?

This week was a David Crowder week for obvious reasons. Remedy is an awesome CD. No it’s not like A Collision and it’s receiving unnecessary flack for that. Saying you love one Crowder over another is like saying you love one kid over another. An artist can’t keep putting out the same thing trying to re-create the feeling his previous work received. So take a step back and listen the the CD again. You’ll find it’s great stuff.
