Directed by Michelle Lehman, last year’s Tropfest Australia winning film, Marry Me, tells a little love story about “a little girl who likes a little boy and a little boy who likes his BMX bike”. The film was inspired by a true story when director, Michelle, at 5 years of age, would chase Jason Mahooney around the school in a pretend wedding dress (her mother’s nightie).

My Grandfather in Tennessee passed away last week. This meant that my sister and brother-in-law, their three kids, and I all crammed into their mini van and headed down to be with the rest of my family for the funeral. Despite the circumstances there were a few really great memories made out of that situation. Like piling onto the bed to watch Indiana Jones with your two nephews and your niece. Or how about making a video like the one you see here.
When I look back on all the cool things I did with my uncles and still to this day smile thinking about them, I hope the same will hold true with these kids about their uncle Jason.
Russ made a good suggestion that I should post the lyrics soo here they are
There was a man
He wore his pants on his head
He wore his socks on his ears
He wore a pink Tu-Tu
With his bow-tie
He worked at the bubblegum factory
With his best buddy Steve
They hated their boss Damien
Because he would not let them have lunch breaks at the same time together
He ate peanut-butter and banana sandwiches
and he called himself Rambo
He wore a BB gun in his Pink Tu Tu
His girlfriend’s name was Wanda
Who had a sister named Rita
Who he like too, but not as much as Wanda
So he hooked her up with Steve
But Steve like Joan better than Rita
And that is the story of Rambo and his best friend Steve who liked Joan better than Rita.
