I’ll get right to the point. The most bloody, gory, and violent movie I have ever seen. This movie makes Saving Private Ryan look like Sesame Street. To put it another way, to say that there was a little blood in this movie would be like saying there was only a little bit of water in the movie Titanic.
As far as over-all story, and what not…who are we kidding, it was a Rambo movie. Although there was enough there to 1. Feel sorry for the people of Burma and 2 to hate the bad guys. The movie did it’s job. However I could’ve done without the bad guys stabbing little kids with bayonets and throwing them into the fire.
This movie is not for the faint of heart. However if you want to see what really happens to the human body when it gets shot with a 50. cal. machine gun, this movie gives you many examples.
My one problem with this movie was that it didn’t show Rambo being a bad bad man enough. I mean sure he does some sneaky stealth kills here and there but the majority of the damage done by Rambo is when he stands behind a hug machine gun. Not a lot of hand to hand stuff. Still good though and worth seeing. I would say I would buy this movie to complete the series.
It gets an 8 out of 10.
