Take Me Away.

So I know I am going crazy with the posts this morning but I have just been flowin’. I found my new favorite song for the week. It’s called “Take me Away” by Lifehouse. There are two versions of this song but the acoustic version creates a different mood. I reccomend you check out both. I hope one day Captured can cover this song. Here are the lyrics.

Take Me Away- By Lifehouse

This time what I want is you
there is no one else
who can take your place
this time you burn me with your eyes
you see past all the lies
you take it all away
I’ve seen it all
and it’s never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you

take me away
take me away
I’ve got nothing left to say
just take me away

I try to make my way to you
but still I feel so lost
I don’t know what else I can do
I’ve seen it all
and it’s never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you

take me away
take me away
I’ve got nothing left to say
just take me away

don’t give up on me yet
don’t forget who I am
I know I’m not there yet
but don’t let
me stay here alone

this time what I want is you
there is no one else
who can take your place
I’ve seen enough and it’s never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you

take me away
take me away
I’ve got nothing left to say
just take me away

take me away
take me away
I’ve got nothing left to say
just take me away

  5. Yeah I know what you mean. I have only heard the acoustic version of the song on an episode of Smallville. As far as I know it’s not on any cd. That’s why I didn’t feel so bad when I got it off the internet. Good luck finding it. Let me know if it is on a cd.

  6. The acoustic version can be found at lifehouse-media.com. Don’t worry about it being free; Lifehouse has actually posted a link to the site on their official page.
