Ford Cares

I don’t know about all that, but they did make a pretty sweet Mustang for the ladies. Ford is releasing a limited edition 2008 V-6 Mustang with a Warriors in Pink Package. Each car sold will have $250 donated directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The car will feature pink seat and steering wheel stitching, Mustang Pony badge over pink breast cancer awareness ribbon, as well as a ribbon on the floor mats and a pink stripe down the side. I should also note that this car is being touted by Kelly Clarkson. You can also get Wallpapers for your computer as well as buy a T-Shirt. You can get more in for here.
As as Mustang lover as well as owner, this is pretty sweet. I love it when company’s go the extra mile for a cause. I know I know they’re making money off a fad that is very popular right now, but at the same time it is raising awareness and founding a great organization. Breast cancer is a terrible disease, however I believe I will see a cure for this disease as well as many other types of cancer in my lifetime. I also believe that the disease will never be cured if projects like these to raise money and awareness don’t exist.

Dude I’m with you. I love seeing corporations like this at least making an effort! I’m all for it! Unfortunately, you can’t fit 2 car seats in one of them

Hmmmm spend 30 grand to donate 250 bucks? I think it’s less a good faith benevolent gesture than a gimick to sell cars.

My sentiments exactly. I was laughing about it at lunch w/ Jason.

Yeah for sure. That package is probably anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 in addition to a regular V-6 price. But look at it this way it’s $250 closer to a cure, also it promotes breast cancer awareness as well as looks pretty sweet.
