About Last Night

Posted in ABC, CW, LOST, NBC, Smallville, Superman, The Office on May 16, 2008 by superman1224

As most of you know there were some big finales and also the start of another. I had to work last night at Apple so I DVRed them all and watched one right after the other. Lots to cover so here we go.

LOST - Great episode. Ben is the good guy, didn’t you know? You’ll see. I also have a theory of who is in the coffin and I believe it’s right on the money. I’ll leave the answer in the comments for those of you woh don’t want to be spoiled.

Smallville - I really enjoyed it! Not the best season finale ever but still very good. Michael was stupendous and Kristin taped one of her best performances ever. I might have shed a tear. That scene was great. The writers have a huge mountain to climb for next season. One great thing about the episode was we got a New Dark Knight TV Spot!

The Office - GREAT! It’s really the only show (other than the old eps of scrubs) that can make me laugh out loud at least once every episode! Kevin is slowly becoming my favorite character. So bummed Andy stole Jim’s thunder. Ryan? Come on who didn’t see that kid going down in flames. Biggest OMG moment came when Jan made her appearance. I really hope Michael and the new HR lady lay a good base!

All Things Smallville

Posted in Allison Mack, DVD, News, Smallville, Starkville's House Of El, Superman, The CW on May 15, 2008 by superman1224

There has been a lot of things happening in the world of Smallville and I feel a little guilty not posting about it. So this post is meant just as a little house keeping since we are a the very cusp of the season 7 Finale! So here are a few headlines.

Allison Mack signs on for Season 8?: It had been reported earlier this week that it seemed as though Alison would not reprise her role as Clark’s trusty sidekick, Chloe Sullivan. The CW announced it’s 2008-2009 fall lineup and cast list for Smallville and Mack was not listed. TV guide broke news today stating that Alison has signed on for a full season 8 commitment. There is nothing final but the source seems lagit.

• Smallville’s 7th Season is now available for pre-order Amazon.com. As you might know I am a BIG supporter of Starkville’s Hose Of El. Derek and Steve do a great job over there with their weekly podcast and should be supported for all their hard work. SHoE is not a paying gig. This might come as a shock to some of you but it is the truth. So to help support those guys take a look at their amazone stuff. There is a listing for both the standard and blu-ray definition versions which will release mid-September, right in time for season eight’s premiere on the CW.

Right now the standard version is only about $2 less than the BluRay but rest assured that price will drop soon, and if you’ve already pre-ordered the set, your pre-order price will drop with it. While you’re at it check out the seventh season companion or the all new Justice League figures from the sixth season episode, “Justice”.

So why not go ahead and be one of the first to pre-order your seventh season set, and support SHoE and Smallville while you’re at it!? Click on the links below to place your order.

Also be sure to catch tonight’s Smallville season 7 finale, as well as an all new SHoE from Derek and Steve.

Tonight On Smallville….The Finale!

Posted in CW, DC, Finale, Lex Luthor, Michael Rosenbaum, Season 7, Smallville, Superman on May 15, 2008 by superman1224

Tonight is the season 7 finale of Smallville. Tonight is exciting on so many levels, but it is a little bittersweet, for tonight marks the last appearance for Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor. Michael has played arguably the best Lex Luthor the world has ever seen. I’m confident tonight will be his finest performance to date. Here is The CW’s official decription for the season finale Arctic.

LEX DISCOVERS CLARK’S SECRET — Kara (Laura Vandervoort) tells Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) he is destined to defeat the Traveler and offers to take him to the Fortress to learn how. Clark (Tom Welling) is stunned that Kara would go to Lex but it is revealed that Brainiac is impersonating Kara and she’s actually trapped in the Phantom Zone. Chloe is arrested by the Department of Domestic Security and Lana awakens from her comatose state. Meanwhile, in an epic turn of events, Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress and Lex learns Clark’s secret. Erica Durance and Aaron Ashmore also star. Todd Slavkin directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson

From that sassy little minx that brought you that catchy ipod commercial, comes Feist’s coolest new tune. I seriously can’t stop listening to this.

This is in response to Russ’ post on Man Babies. Funny thing is their heads were the same size when I made this so the effect isn’t as dramatic. Ha
